When to use it
Use the SAP integration when your support or service team runs on SAP Service Cloud and you want WhatsApp conversations, Flow actions, and website chat to stay tied to the correct SAP location.Set it up
1
Open the SAP connect page
2
Connect with your SAP credentials
Enter your Cloud URL, Username, and Password, then click Connect now.Chatarmin validates the credentials against your SAP system before saving the connection.
3
Copy the embedded widget URL
After a successful connection, copy the Embedded Widget URL shown on the page.Paste this URL wherever you embed the SAP widget on your website.
4
Map your SAP location
In SAP Location, select the SAP organizational location that matches this Chatarmin account. This mapping keeps cases, contacts, and chat activity aligned with the right SAP location.
5
Choose single-location or multi-location routing
Leave Use this account as the shared multi-location widget turned off when this Chatarmin account serves one SAP location only.Turn it on when one Chatarmin account should route website visitors from multiple SAP locations through a shared widget URL. Chatarmin then appends a
{userId} placeholder to the widget URL so your site can pass the visitor or location identifier.6
Save location settings
Click Save location settings. The widget URL on the page updates to match your routing choice.
Reset the widget token
Click Reset Token if you need to invalidate the current widget URL and generate a new one. The previous URL stops working immediately.Best practices
- Map each Chatarmin account to the SAP location your team actually works from.
- Use the shared multi-location widget only when one Chatarmin account intentionally serves multiple SAP locations from a single embed.
- Test the widget URL after saving location settings or resetting the token.
