Connect Chatarmin with SAP Service Cloud to sync contacts, cases, notes, and chat interactions in Flows, and embed a WhatsApp chat widget on your website.

When to use it

Use the SAP integration when your support or service team runs on SAP Service Cloud and you want WhatsApp conversations, Flow actions, and website chat to stay tied to the correct SAP location.

Set it up

Open the SAP connect page

Go to SAP Service Cloud in Chatarmin.

Connect with your SAP credentials

Enter your Cloud URL, Username, and Password, then click Connect now.Chatarmin validates the credentials against your SAP system before saving the connection.

Copy the embedded widget URL

After a successful connection, copy the Embedded Widget URL shown on the page.The URL is static. Paste it wherever you embed the SAP widget on your website. The widget identifies the signed-in visitor through Microsoft Entra single sign-on instead of changing the URL per user.

Map your SAP locations

In SAP Locations, select one or more SAP organizational locations that match this Chatarmin account.Choose multiple locations when one Chatarmin account serves several locations or sales arrangements. This mapping keeps cases, contacts, and chat activity aligned with the right SAP locations.

Save location settings

Click Save location settings.

Configure Microsoft Entra single sign-on

Under Microsoft Entra single sign-on, turn on Sign in widget users with Microsoft Entra. This is required when the widget serves multiple SAP locations.Enter your Directory (tenant) ID.Under How to find the user in SAP, choose how Chatarmin matches the signed-in Entra user to an SAP employee. E-mail — SAP looks the employee up by e-mail (recommended) works for most setups. Use another option only when your SAP directory is keyed on a different Entra claim (for example employee ID or UPN).Register the redirect URI shown on the page as a single-page application in your Entra app registration, then click Save single sign-on settings.
If you change location mapping or single sign-on later, save the settings again on the SAP connect page. The embedded widget URL stays the same unless you reset the widget token.

Reset the widget token

Click Reset Token if you need to invalidate the current widget URL and generate a new one. The previous URL stops working immediately.
After resetting the token, update every place where you embedded the old widget URL.

Best practices

  • Map each Chatarmin account to every SAP location your team serves from that account.
  • Configure Microsoft Entra single sign-on before rolling out a multi-location widget embed.
  • Test the widget after saving location or single sign-on settings, or after resetting the token.
