Why there’s no formal “migration” anymore

Meta changed how WhatsApp Business Accounts work: your number, business profile, and conversation history now live in your WhatsApp account (WAAC), separate from the messaging/billing account tied to a specific tech provider. Switching tech providers no longer means migrating a phone number between them - you simply share your existing WAAC with the new provider. The number doesn’t move, there’s no downtime, and conversation history stays intact.
Good to know: This replaces the old, stricter migration process. You don’t need a migration approval from 360Dialog, and you don’t need to disable Two-Step Verification either - Meta’s own documentation confirms that re-registering an already-registered number “succeeds without resetting the PIN” and the register call “will silently pass for the pre-registered number.”

Connect directly through the normal setup

To switch from 360Dialog to Chatarmin’s direct Meta connection:
  1. Go to https://chatarmin.com/dashboard/whatsapp-setup
  2. Choose “New to WhatsApp Marketing” and complete the Meta embedded signup popup as usual
  3. When prompted, select the same Business Manager and WhatsApp Business Account you currently use with 360Dialog
That’s it - no separate “migration” flow, no 2FA disabling, no 360Dialog approval, no need to coordinate a cutover window.

If the popup won’t connect

If Meta’s signup popup reports that the number is still exclusively tied to 360Dialog and won’t let you continue, the WAAC may need to be released or unshared from 360Dialog’s side first. In that case:
  1. Log in to 360Dialog’s Hub
  2. Find the channel for this number and release/unshare it
  3. Return to /dashboard/whatsapp-setup and retry the connection

You don’t need to cancel 360Dialog yourself

Once your number is connected directly in Chatarmin, we automatically request cancellation of your old 360Dialog channel for you - there’s nothing to do in 360Dialog’s dashboard.
Good to know: 360Dialog’s cancellation isn’t instant. The channel stays visible (and reactivatable from the Partner Hub) for about 30 days before it’s permanently deleted - so if anything looks wrong after switching, there’s a safety window to revert.
If you still see the old 360Dialog integration listed in your Chatarmin account a few days after connecting, contact support so we can clean it up.
