What is this?
Meta is introducing a new message category called Meta Business Agent, and rolling out pricing changes for several message types that have so far been free or bundled. Here’s what’s changing, when, and what it actually affects on the Chatarmin/ArminCX side.
💳 The three changes at a glance What this means for you
Meta Business Agent is Meta’s own agentic platform, a separate thing from ArminCX. Anything ArminCX sends, whether it’s a human agent reply or the AI customer service agent, falls under the Service messages category. So the change that actually affects Chatarmin users is the second one: from October 1, 2026, every non-template reply your team or your AI agent sends will carry a Meta-side per-message charge, on top of anything Chatarmin already bills.
Good to know: Meta hasn’t published the exact per-message rate for Service messages yet. They’ve committed to announcing it by September 1, 2026. Until then, we don’t know the final cost per message.
⚠️ Nothing changes on your Chatarmin invoice today. These are charges Meta applies directly for message delivery, separate from your Chatarmin plan. This article exists so the info is documented as Meta’s plans become official; it isn’t a Chatarmin pricing change. 👇 Full details, including the pricing examples and a cost comparison table, are in Meta’s own documentation: https://developers.facebook.com/documentation/business-messaging/whatsapp/pricing/non-template-messages We’ll update this article with confirmed Service message rates once Meta publishes them.
