Directing your customer to your "WhatsApp Welcome Flow" is better for your conversion rate since the user is on his phone anyway and doesn't have to fill out the tedious E-Mail form to receive his discount code. Here is an A/B test of one of our clients which shows a significant increase in the Opt-In rate on a WhatsApp Pop-Up compared to the classic E-Mail.
Additionally, it helps raise the CLTV due to a WhatsApp lead having a considerably higher CLTV than a regular E-Mail lead.
Make sure to create a “Chatstart Link” (Dashboard) for the Buzzword that triggers the Welcome Flow.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When the client is using Klaviyo AND/OR Shopify, make sure to ask for the Email in the Flow. (only if no email is assigned for example)
