Prerequisites before migrating your WABA
π¨ Turn off 2FA for your WhatsApp Account
Go into your WhatsApp Manager and click on the "Settings Icon" on the right of the number you want to migrate.
Now click on "Two-Step Verification":
Next click on "Turn off two-step verification":
Now you should have received an E-Mail with the instructions to turning off the Two-step verification
π¨ Verify your Business
To migrate your current WhatsApp Number, make sure your Business is verified, else the migration will FAIL.
Go to your Security Center inside your Business Manager under. Check your verification status and make sure its verified.
Start Migration
Back to Chatarmin
Once you have turned off the Two-step verification, go to https://chatarmin.com/dashboard/setup
Here, you can skip to the third Step and click on "Create your WhatsApp Account"
Select correct Business Manager
Make sure to select the Business Manager where the current WhatsApp Account is installed
Create a new WhatsApp Account
π¨ Make sure, to select "Create ..." on both "dropdowns". DO NOT SELECT YOUR OLD WhatsApp Account here!
Create a WhatsApp Business Profile
Fill out the details for your WhatsApp Account.
π¨ Make sure, that the "WhatsApp Business display name" is the EXACT same, as your current WhatsApp Account which you want to migrate
Select your Phone Number to migrate
Now type in your WhatsApp Number and make sure to select the correct Verification Type: SMS/Voice
π¨ Only needed when changing your phone number
If you want to switch phone number, you will need to delete your old WABA and create a new one, with your new number.
Continue after hint
After typing in your number and clicking "Next" you should see a note, that the number is already registered to WhatsApp. Click on "Next" to proceed.
After phone verification
Now navigate back to the META Business Manager -> WhatsApp Accounts -> Select your newly created WhatsApp Account -> Payment Settings -> Add a Payment Method
After adding your Payment Method
Now go back to the Popup from META and click on "Continue" & "Finish installation". Now the Pop-up closes and you should see a success message in a bit.
Once succeeded, you can click on "Continue: Verify" in Chatarmin & now you are done!
π¨ Only needed when migrating from 360Dialog
Cancel 360Dialog Subscription
Last, make sure to cancel your current subscription at 360Dialog. Therefore, you will need to Login in 360Dialog and go to your Number.
And now scroll down to the bottom and click on "Cancel Subscription".
You have now successfully migrated your Number to Chatarmin! π₯³
