Offboarding Guide

Overview

This guide helps you properly and completely deactivate your Chatarmin setup after the offboarding has been confirmed by both sides.

πŸ‘‰ Important: Only proceed with the following steps after the cancellation has been officially confirmed.

1. Disable Lead Generation

Make sure no new contacts can enter your WhatsApp:
Disable all lead sources such as:

  • Thank You Page widget

  • Pop-ups

  • Website widgets

  • and more

πŸ‘‰ Goal: No new opt-ins or incoming messages should be generated.

2. Deactivate Flows

Disable all active flows in your account.

πŸ‘‰ Goal: No automated messages or campaigns should be triggered anymore.

3. Disconnect Integrations

Disconnect all connected integrations, such as:

  • Shopify

  • Klaviyo

  • Other tools

πŸ‘‰ Goal: No more data should be synced between systems.

4. Export or Remove Contacts

Export or remove your contact list here depending on your needs:

  • Export contacts (if you want to keep the data)

  • or

  • Opt-out / delete contacts

⚠️ Important:

Once contacts are deleted, they cannot be restored.

5. Account Deactivation

Your Chatarmin account access will be automatically deactivated after the official contract end date. There is no manual action needed from your side.
