# Set Up a Custom Domain for Template Links

## **What is this?**

Custom Domain lets you replace the default link domain in all your Chatarmin template URLs with your own branded subdomain. Instead of a generic URL, recipients see something like `yourshop.rdrct.li` — your name, on every link you send.

⚠️ Custom Domain is a **Premium Feature**. You need to unlock it before you can configure it.

## ⚙️ **How to set it up**

1. Go to **Account** in the left sidebar.
2. Click **Templates** (the tab marked "New") in the Account settings menu.
3. In the **Custom Domain** section, click **Unlock Now**.
4. Complete the upgrade flow to activate the feature.

Once saved, Chatarmin applies your custom domain to all template URLs automatically. You don't need to update any individual template.

## **When to use Custom Domain**

* You send template links regularly and want every URL to carry your brand name.
* You want recipients to recognise your sender identity before they tap a link.
* You track link performance and want branded URLs in your reports.

## **When NOT to use Custom Domain**

* You're still finalising your brand identity. Configure the domain once your branding is stable — changing it later affects all existing template URLs at once.

> **Good to know:** Custom Domain applies to **all** your template URLs. There is no per-template toggle. Once you configure your subdomain, it takes effect across the board.
